I went to get my permanent crown to cover the tooth that got the root canal. This should mean the end of my dental drama for now. I have to saw that I'm quite impressed with modern dentistry! This things feels just like a real tooth!
Had dinner with Stacey, my sister Dianne and the 2 nephews Kai and Raj at Cafe Fiorenze in Moorpark. That place is sooooooo good! If you ever find yourself in the area, you need to check out the butternut squash ravioli.
Watched Kick Ass again. (I know, not that important, but I LOVE that movie!)
Epic Road Trip starts tomorrow! OMG! I can't believe I'm doing this! Did some packing, but I won't be able to finish until tomorrow morning. My nephew Raj wasn't coming, then he was, and now he's not. It's probably better that he's not coming. The original plan was that my day and the 2 kids were going to stay with my mom and I up through Yellowstone, and after that, he and the 2 kids would turn around and head back home. My dad plus the 2 kids alone on the road for 2 days is probably not the best idea. Those kids are enough to drive anyone crazy, and it doesn't take a lot to push my dad over the edge.
I'm not sure how the blogging is going to work during the trip, but I'm still going to try to have one entry per day. We'll see how it goes!
ROAD TRIP!!!!! I'm so excited for you. Have fun, drive safely and pull over and look at everything!

P.S.: Please take some pictures, for those of us living vicariously(while we're supposed to be working :-P ).
I'm thinking maybe my blog is going to turn into a photo album blog during the trip. Hopefully it won't take too long to do that every night.
ReplyDeleteyou do realize that of our christian ed class there were about 5 of us that had rootcanals in the past month??
